Christmas is celebrated on 25th December of every year on the eve of the birth anniversary of the Jesus Christ. The preparations for the Christmas festival start one month before with great enthusiasm and decoration. The Christan people clean and decorate their houses, streets, offices, and churches gracefully with the different colors of lights. The shops and marketplaces look like an art gallery which include beautiful pictures, flowers, Christmas trees, and toys.  On this day the Christan people offer a special prayer offer in the Churches.

The Christan people get an artificial Christmas tree in their houses on this day. The tree is placed in the open space of the house and decorated with lamps, stars, toys, flowers, and balloons. On the top of the tree, a fairy is installed to give it a personified beauty. At night, the electric bulbs and candles are put on the twigs of the tree. Christmas is not only celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Jesus but also it is the founding day of Christianity in the world.
